A control module always checks three important parameters and adjusts these parameters when necessary. The control module checks the frequencies of the generating sets that are running at the same time through the engine speed. The output voltages should be equal as well. They are controlled by the control module and adjusted by the AVR.
 
There can be no phase shifting between the sines produced by the generating sets.
 
When two identical generating sets are running in parallel (loaded with 100% and 50% respectively), the parallel circuit makes sure that they both are loaded with 75% (= ideal load).
